MEET THE WINE

Fresh fruit. Bright acidity. Effortlessly enjoyable.

Not every celebration needs a guest list. Sometimes it is simply the arrival of a warm evening, a table outdoors or the chance to spend time with family and friends.

That was the feeling Bernd wanted to capture when he worked with Daniel Kuhnle and his winemaking team to create the Mayländer Rosé. It needed to feel fresh, relaxed and full of character—a wine that could be opened whenever the moment felt right.

Bright fruit and balanced acidity keep it light and refreshing, making it a natural choice for summer lunches, garden gatherings and golden-hour glasses. Its expressive salmon-pink appearance comes from careful contact with the grape skins, but the wine itself remains delicate, approachable and wonderfully easy to enjoy.

Created in the Remstal Valley, within Württemberg’s historic wine-growing region, this is Rosé without unnecessary rules—carefully made, naturally refreshing and equally suited to the occasions you plan and those that happen on their own.

“Fresh, relaxed and ready when you are.”

TASTING NOTES

Expressive salmon pink in the glass, this dry Rosé opens with inviting aromas of fresh strawberry, raspberry and forest berries, accompanied by delicate hints of violet. The palate is light and refreshing, with bright red fruit and finely balanced acidity. Its fruit and freshness remain at the centre, giving the wine character without heaviness or excessive tannin. The finish is smooth, clean and gently crisp, leaving a lingering impression of fresh summer berries.

Made from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Samtrot grapes grown in the Württemberg wine-growing region and produced by Daniel Kuhnle and his winemaking team in Weinstadt-Strümpfelbach. The grapes are harvested by hand before receiving a short period of skin contact. This allows the wine to develop its expressive salmon-pink appearance and fruit character before the grapes are gently pressed. Careful fermentation preserves the wine’s freshness, delicate aromatics and balanced acidity. Only 1,500 bottles of the Mayländer 2024 Rosé were produced.
